A Cross-Option Agreement protects your business and co-owners.
A Business Will lets you decide who inherits your share of the company.
It protects your beneficiaries and can include trusts, or guidance on how the business should be managed or sold. It can record how you prefer it managed or sold.
A Cross-Option Agreement focuses on business continuity.
It gives the remaining owners the right (but not the obligation) to buy your shares if you die or lose capacity, ensuring control stays within the business and your estate receives fair value.
